$2200 seems a bit pricey. $1200 seems more realistic. Even then, without examining the condition, $1200 could be high. You have to plan on replacing the entire suspension, front and rear. Then check the steering rack. What's the rubber look like. What's the interior look like. Could be a steal - could be a money pit.

the interior would be ripped out anyways, good point about checking the steering rack. The engine would be gone along with the suspension as well, I would find a M3 donor car (Philips when he is at work). Not sure what engine I would go with though...
