A while back I bought a 2000 BMW z3 M coupe (s52) for a good price that the previous owner caught on fire. Long story short, I replaced everything that was burnt and for the first time started the car a few days ago. Although, a few problems. The car won't idle on it's own, and you need to keep revving so the car doesn't die. Even so, it barely responds to the accelerator. It sounds pretty bad and it sputters and sounds like it's backfiring into the intake (popping noise). The only code it's showing is P0443: Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit. Has anyone else had similar problems? I'm going to replace the purge valve soon and see if that helps, but at this stage the car is undrivable and I'm not sure what to do. Please help!
