If you could add ONE additional feature to the E46, what would it be?

A REAL sport package (stiffer sways, spring, LSD, cloth seats, Style 72 rims, M3 steering wheel, 6-spd manual tranny, Shadowline trim). No M3 cosmetics (except the steering wheel which is a huge feel improvement aside from it's //M looks). There's no reason you can't have a 325 or 330 with these parts. You should not have to buy an M3 to get them and this way you can have a truly sporting 4-door or wagon.

(Oh, and I'd want a MECHANICAL throttle.)

Agree with your thoughts 100%. I need the room, etc. of wagon for family purposes, but still crave the sport items. Why not offer the best of both:dunno:

That's more than ONE feature

not a bad package (sounds similar to the Club Sport Package), but LSD is the most important, IMO

The one feature I want? A sixth gear for the highway, and the shortening of the rest. I'm sorry, but if any of you have ever driven a Nissan SE-R Spec-V (not bloody likely I presume) you'd understand what I'm saying. 2nd gear does 49mph, while our Bimmers go on to about 60 or so. HUGE difference in city driving.

i vote for 6th gear overdrive, too.

i mean, c'mon, SE-R type V, new beetle turbo S, new GTI all have six speeds and they're in the economy class.
