Bavarian AutoSport. They have a clearance sale on this book.

If you're into aerodynamics pertaining to vehicle performance, then this is the book for you. Ever wonder the purpose of "sideskirts", or how efficient is the roof spoilers anyway? Don't have to an engineer to understand, cos the author presents the concepts with very simple diagrams. Makes you ponder the next time you want to invest in aerokit!

Ahh... ;)

Well, I am always very curious about aerodynamics. Something which made me went for Alpina is the fact that they actually did a wind tunnel tests with their aero kit.

BMW E46 Sedan
Coefficient of drag = 0.31

With Alpina spoilers
Coefficient of drag = 0.29

0.02 may not make a difference on daily LA traffic. But hey, I know Alpina tested the spoilers! So where are the numbers from Hamann, ACS or RD?? C'mon!
