Hi.

This is the first time I've seen this but I'm getting the word "INSPECTION" and one yellow LED on the LED bar that tells when the oil need to be changed. Does anyone know what that means?

Your vehicle has calculated that you require "Inspection 1 or 2". Basically it is the 30 or 60k miles service.

Thanks for the information guys. I know I need an oil change which I'll do shortly.
Just didn't know what the "Inspection" meant.

I changed my oil and tried to reset the Inspection LED but it won't go off.
Is there a different way to reset it? I used the tool that plugs into the round
connector under the hood on the passengers side of the car.........

These "reminders" are useless. Ignore them.

The reminders may be useless but I still need to reset them. I tried the link by Blue bee above and it didn't work.
My car was built in 9/98 and the instructions on Bule Bees link are from 9/2000 and up.

I have the round reset tool that lets you reset the Oil service LED and the Inspection LED. After reading the instructions I don't think I held the Inspection button on the reset tool for 9 seconds or more. I'll try it again......Thanks.

Yes, I didn't hold the button down long enough....once I did ti reset fine. Thanks
