2014 x5 50i (F15) rear cargo cover malfunction

Our cargo cover for 2014 X5 no longer snaps into place on the left hand side. The right side where the latches still catches but the left side will not connect or "snap" or "lock" into place. We've ruled out the cover itself since we've tried installing several diff covers... anyone seen this b4 or have a solution?

I moved your posting to the F15 forum so you can get model-specific help. I haven't heard of that problem before, but there's probably someone here in the F15 forum that has, and perhaps has a solution.
