That one looks nice but it is pretty big. If you're not careful it will take a nice chunk of paint off your car one day. Am I the only one that worries about stuff like that? :dunno:

I don't use a keychain or fob for my car for the reason stated above. I just use that stupid leather thing that came with the car by itself. It keeps the key safe and looking new and if it flew out of my hand one day and hit my car it wouldn't do much damage to either the car or the key.

I keep my house/office keys separate on their own chain and the keychain that holds all my clients' keys stays in my car. It takes a little getting used to but it works well for me. :eeps:

They usually sell those key chains at the dealership along with the official BMW shirts and hats, if you are willing to pay "BMW" prices.

Lucky for me, my girlfriend bought me the BMW key chain BEFORE I ordered my car. I think it was her way of silently saying, "ALRIGHT, HURRY UP AND GET YOUR CAR !"

Now if I can only convince her to buy me that aero package ....

I put a nice whack into the side of my last car with the keychain and keys. A couple of coats of wax couldn't even take it out.

Yes, SONET, I worry about stuff like that! Metal band watches are special too!

I never use my keys to open the door, so how come everyone is so worried about dinging the car with a keychain....I guess when you open the door you have to be somewhat careful :dunno:

**it happens though. Say you trip, your gf/SO gives you a hug, or you go to catch something... out of nowhere the keys go flying through the air in what seems to be slow motion and whammo... your car is never the same. I hate when that happens. :tsk:

I think you need to take one of my OCD classes... 100 level maybe. ;)
