OK - I'm gonna forego the 500$ repair estimate to remove the key scratch which begins under driver sideview mirror and ends at rear fender hump. Depth of scratch varies along its devious path and it has been poorly filled by me and touch-up paint,no sanding, and about 3 years old.

WTB? Langka, Quixx or other? Where to look for instructions on grit and wet sanding.

I am bumping this old thread to add a suggestion for repairing deep paint scratches such as from being "keyed".

For rock chips, DrColorChip www.drcolorchip.com is good. But deep scratches need a leveling filler, for which ScratchWizard http://scratchwizard.net is good. There is no sanding involved. Here is how my wide and deep scratch turned out:
