Did the trunk storage area change with the LCI? I am looking at a storage mat to protect the electronics under the trunk. I am debating between:

I have seen good reviews of both. However, the Weathertech site does not list their cargo liner as available for a 2014 - only for 2011-2013. I can't tell if that is just a mistake, or if there are some small changes to the trunk area that would prevent the Weathertech from fitting.

I had a pre-LCI (2013 model) F10 with the original storage mat from BMW. I then swapped my car for a LCI 2014 model; but I kept my storage mat - and it fits perfectly fine.

PS: I am based in the UK, but I guess the parts are identical your side of the pond.

Yes, they'e the same. I have a hex mat which I like very much.

I ended up buying the BMW mat. I really wanted the Weathertech, but they wouldn't say it would fit an LCI. The BMW mat I got was the exact same as pre-LCI so either should fit. Thought about returning mine and getting the Weathertech, but then got too lazy. The BMW one is alright.

Thanks Taint. I think I'll go for the Weathertech - I've had good luck in the past.
