Hi Guys!

I'm leaving tomorrow! Any last minute tips and suggestions?

Which restaurant is the best to try in BMW Welt anyway? Do they provide vouchers for a free lunch, or do we have to pay ourselves?

Beewang also mentioned to pack toilet papers back in 2004 because EU toilet papers is the equivalent of brown paper bags. Is this still applicable? I'm staying in 4 star hotels...should I still pack toilet papers? Thanks!

Best,
Larry

Have a great time! Remember three things:
  1. Report back. Now we want your opinions on the places you visit. And we want pix!
  2. Carry a couple of pocket packs of Kleenex per person. They can come in handy for all sorts of things and are a good substitute for TP if necessary. "Tempo" is the best German brand, in my opinion--a bit sturdier than Kleenex but almost as soft.
  3. Look for "Rei in der tube" in a grocery or convenience store once you are in Germany. It is a mild gooey paste detergent great for hand-washing clothing or whatever in the sink, and comes in a yellow plastic travel tube.
Now you are all set!
