Noah Car Covers are supposed to be good, but expensive. I have the genuine BMW car cover for my M5 during winter time. I used it all last winter and it was fine, maybe some small fine scratches but that'll buff out. BavAuto has their own 'custom' car cover, I don't know much about it.

Tischer BMW had them last year. Go to getbmwparts.comThis is very helpful thank you. Can I ask where you got your genuine BMW cover? When I went to look on the BMW website their options did not go back to 1999.
Scroll to E39 section on the left hand side. Should see it populate E39 parts, and the car cover is in the middle of the page.
