Did the guy erase and read again? Some of them might be old stored codes.
I would do a smoke test to rule out any vacuum leaks( google if you don't know what that is)
If vacuum leaks are present, they have to be fixed.
Once the vacuum leaks are fixed and the fuel trims(google again if you don't know what they are) have settled, you should focus on the mass air flow error if the error is still present after that.
That could be the main cause of sluggish acceleration and low power.
Low mpg can be caused by the mass air flow sensor and vacuum leaks.
