M Coupe Radio Features

I am quite sure that there is some sort of ambient volume compensation feature for this radio.
How do I adjust that or turn it off?

After you turn the radio on you press and hold the "m" button until you see the service menu. from there you find the "GAL" settings, 1 is lowest .
