M-Technik/PDC owners - please help!
I have just bought the OEM M-Technik kit, where the PDC sensors are integrated into the upper half of the rear bumper.
My dealer planned to reuse the PDC sensors from my stock bumper (where they are located in the black trim). He did however not painted the (black) PDC sensors, as he feared that the paint would inhibit the sensors from working properly, thus I now have black sensors in my steel gray M-bumper (which looks out of place).
The only alternative to painting the sensors, is to buy prepainted M3 PDC sensors. Those are 70 US$ a piece - and I need four!
Will paint prevent proper function - or do I really have to buy the M3 parts?
Can't seem to get a proper answer here in Denmark. Please help.
