Best way to pass the time is to sit in a comfortable chair, gripping the M3 wheel, and make vroom vroom noises. I did that for 6 weeks. :thumb:zkc said:My new M3 steering wheel arrived today, something to pass the time until my car arrives. Well, for the last month I've been spending my time in a nice comfy room - some nice men in white coats came and carried me away after I made too many 'vroom vroom' sounds, mentioned the acronym 'BWM' way too many times, and kept saying 'Topaz Blue is an awesome color'.alee said:

yes, that pic. if the part number ends in "230" you have the wheel with the black stitching. if it ends in "500," you have red and blue stitching. they are otherwise the same as far as I know. I prefer the subtle aesthetic difference of the 230 wheel.bimmee said:
Thanks.
You mean this pic?
Cant tell much difference between the one i have now and the one in the pic...
:tsk:
I was actually imagining a smaller steering wheel. Dunno where I got that idea from but anyways....hmmm, the red/blue stitching sounds kewl.... If anyone has a pic, please post.31st330i said:

it is also a tad on the shiny side because I keep Lexol on it (once every 4 months or so, when I do the whole interior).
look at any M3 or a pic of one. that's the wheel that comes standard in them.bimmee said:I was actually imagining a smaller steering wheel. Dunno where I got that idea from but anyways....hmmm, the red/blue stitching sounds kewl.... If anyone has a pic, please post.![]()
