I am currently leasing a 2016 M3 with a MSRP of $89,000 but it was discounted to $80,000 I have a 36 month/ 12k a year lease and put $2,000 down (inclusive of fees and first month) and my monthly payments are $979 including 6.5% sales tax.

I am looking at a 2019 M4 and the lease numbers do not add up compared to what I am currently paying, I know money factors have gone up, but do not think the delta should be this high, any assistance would be appreciated.

New Car - 2019 BMW M4 Convertible

MSRP: 92,085
Discount: 5,500
Selling Price: 86,585
Rebate: they said the 3,000 rebate is only if you purchase (1,000 loyalty applied)
Term: 36 months, 12000 miles a year

Down Payment: 1,500
Monthly payment: 1,421 (including 6 month sales tax)
Residual: 51,567
Money factor: .0024 (they said with my credit it should be .00188)

They are really trying to push the BMW Select financing with a balloon payment, but I do not plan on keeping the car beyond 3 years, so don't think it makes sense, Any insights would be appreciated.

Thank You

Scary bad numbers!! 92K msrp is ridiculous, I"ll assume optioned to the max. For that amount of dough you should be looking CS, they're at least being discounted much deeper. I'd shop that price if I were you. Good luck:thumbup:

Thank you, yes it is loaded. Do you know how much the CS's are being discounted for? I see all the major dealerships have 2 to 3 and they don't seem to be moving.

I'm up here in CT. Fairfield County to be exact, quite the affluent area. CS' pretty much dust collectors and yes they are being heavily discounted, somewhere between 7 to 10K, hard to imagine right? I'll be looking early fall, just hoping BMW numbers improve.

Not sure if this helps at all. I am looking to lease a 2018 BMW M3...msrp $80,995...sales price $70,200. Looking at $943 per month for 36 months @ 10k miles per year no money out of pocket. Not sure if its a good deal or not. Residual is $46k'ish.
