I just picked up my 2017 540i yesterday. So far it's an amazing car.
This morning I got in the car and there's a prompt on the iDrive screen:
"Connect USB device with correct activation code"
In addition, the navigation tile just says "Loading..." with a picture of the BMW Welt.
Clicking on the navigation tile doesn't do anything so I can't display the maps at all or use the navigation system.
Dealer sent me an activation code via email to put on a USB key, but it still gives me that same "connect USB device..." prompt.
Dealer and I are going back and forth on how to fix it, probably needs to go back to their service department.
Any one here have any ideas or have seen this before?
