For anyone stumbling on this thread looking for a nav software update so you can unlock full screen Apple CarPlay, I just did it through @Adalbert_77

it was my first remote coding session I’ve ever done and the guy is pro. He walked me through everything step-by-step and explained what was happening during the process. PS: DON’T FORGET TO UNCOMPRESS THE FILES 🤦‍♂️

I was a little hesitant to let anyone remote code, but now I found my guy for all future projects on my 2019 540!

Just wanted to share my experience because I’m a new member here and didn’t see a lot of people post their experience working with him.

Recently acquired a 530e as import from Germany (to Denmark) which was factory fitted with ConnectedDrive Professional from factory. This means that it came with three years map updates (which ran out in january 2025)

The current map version is:

Is this the latest version and does it include all european maps? What does the DE signify? It seems to be country code for Germany, but what impact does this have?
