Sorry but I missed the 12hr rule. I did not have access to a computer, and I was unable to take my laptop since it was 4 adults and 2 kids in the car, and we had to restrict the luggage.
March 19th: Pick Up--Wow, what an experience! Best yet! This place is amazing. I felt like a king. We had a 3:15 appointment with delivery at 4.50 PM, but we mised our flight in London Heaththrow and got in at 3:15PM instead of 2PM. That airport is a mess. No wonder they call it Deathrow. Rolf was great, because although he was unable to pick me up since we got there late, he sent Peter instead.
March 20th--We ended up staying longer in Munich to do the 1:30 PM tour across the street. I highly recommend it. It took about 2 hours, and we got snowed while walking there. These people really have this down packed. AMAZING!!!
After the tour we drove 745 kilometers to Annecy, France and got there at almost 1AM the next day. It was a long drive but my kids did well. Some of the adults did not.
March 21st--Annecy was beautiful, but it was snowing and raining and it was impossible to walk much in the cold rain and snow. We left towards Barcelona, which was 645 kilometers away. The gas and tolls are a killer. We must have paid close to $100 in tolls and 3 gas tanks worth about 70 to 85 euros each. OUCH!! I stopped looking at what I spent, since it would have ruined my trip early. (There is always overtime at work.)
March 22nd--Barcelona. We arrived the night before from Annecy and spent about 6hrs touring the city on foot or using the metro. This was my wife´s favorite city, and this why I took her there since it had been my favorite on a prior trip without her. The Hotel was the Hilton Diagonal Mar, which was one of the best hotelsI have stayed in. I had booked it through Priceline for $162 per night. The view was spectacular and very modern. We left Barcelona at 5PM and drove towards Madrid, which was 645km away and took about 5 1/2hrs to get there.
March 22 to 27th-We are now in Madrid with family enjoying the best food in the world(IMO). My father bought me a leg of Jamon Serrano Jabugo Pata Negra and we are breaking it in tonight with some nice white Spanish wine.
I highly recommend some sort of GPS device. I did not get a car system this time but took a mitac mio with all the European maps. We did not get lost once. We even used it for handheld city touring navigation in Barcelona.

Wow, I watched Rudy Maxa or Rick Steeves demonstrating how to slice that Serrano ham leg on one of their travel specials in Spain. Nice touch.

Here are some more pics from our current trip:
1- Welt view coming rom Munich plant tour
2- At the Welt with the BMW headquaters behind
3- Sagrada Familia in Barcelona
4- Enjoying Barcelona cuisine
5- The car on display on the turn table
6- Car parked on street-view from Hotel
I parked in the street to of course save the 40 euros or so of inside parking and while walking towards the car a guy was parked next to it pretending like his tire had issues but was actually scoping the car for a possible theft. I aproached him and he pretended like he had car problems.

More pics from my trip.

I just got back yesterday and wanted to update with more pictures. The trip was great and has now become a true addiction. Only 23 more months to the next one. As I mentioned above, the Welt experience was second to none. They truelly strive to make your experience unforgettable. Even the drop off is well synchronized eventhough BMW has no control over the customer service at those other countries.
1-El Valle de los Caidos(Valley of the Fallen)
2-At a local Tablado(Cafe Chinitas)
3-Palacio Real(Royal Palace in Madrid)
4-My new best friend--mitac mio H610 GPS--a must during your trip
5-Final mileage at drop off(1566). Note the amount of fuel/mileage left. I did about 1300 miles the first 3 days alone.
6-My next ED car--At the drop off location

*first post!!!!

i noticed that you are located very near to me. I was interested in ordering a 335i coupe within the next few months via ED and I was curious as to what dealership you went to if it was located down here in florida.
