I picked up my car at the PC. Every thing was great. One thing I wished would be better was the product specialist part. Maybe I just had a higher expectation. Some of my questions about the car was gone with no answer.

Some points I like to mention:
We flew nonstop from NY to Charlotte, then a one way rental to GSP airport. The airfare saving paid for the rental, plus no connection on a better timing flight from LGA.

The steak was great at the Marriott. An alcoholic drink was complimented by Marriott.

The slalom experience made me nauseous. May be I was just going too fast.

I was picking up a ///M car. They had an exact car there for the exercise. I was the only one that day who was picking that model car. However, someone took that car before I had a chance. Kinda disappointed, but not too terrible upset. My companion asked me: are you the one supposed to drive that car? I didn't say anything that time since I was not sure what was the rule.

The skid paid spinning 360 was awesome. On the hot lap, the instructor did it again. Very cool.

I did the factory tour in the afternoon, I ended up leaving little after 3pm.

The gift shop guy was not too friendly. I asked to see a wallet from a display case. He said, it is $90, do you still want to see it?
I was like, am I in a BMW center or not?

I learned that most folks there don't work for BMW. They work for a logistics company that has contract with BMW.

The museum was closed.

It sucks that someone else took the M3 that was meant for you! You definitely should have said something and I'm surprised the instructors didn't do a better job making sure everyone was in the right cars. What did you end up driving?

Who was your delivery specialist? I had Andy go over my car with me and he seemed to know the car inside and out. The guy in the gift shop isn't the most friendly, but I didn't realize they weren't BMW employees.

The skid pad was a blast wasn't it. I followed my delivery with a two day course, and in retrospect I think the skid pad was one of my favorite parts.

It is too bad the museum is closed, but that just means I'll have something new to do the next time I do a delivery at the Performance Center.
