I installed a VRSP chargepipe a few months back, clearly the meth injection bung wasn’t tight from the factory and it’s gone.

want to go to the hardware store and find a bolt to plug it as my idle is all over the place. Anybody know the thread size and what bolt I might need? I assume meth injectors are a standard size?

anyone got an idea?

My blind guess would be that you'd need a 1/4" or 3/8" NPT Plug.

Ahhhh......It's an 1/8" NPT. Make sure you get a pipe thread (NPT) plug from hardware store.
Wow, that must have been very loose from factory!

Well I looked on their site at the actual bung replacement and it didnt give a size, I didnt think to look at the chargepipe...Thanks for that.

I thought I had some weird idling going on all of a sudden and spotted it during my oil change, then ISTA confirmed it with a air mass plausbility error. No CEL though...
Will stop by the hardware store tomorrow and see if I can find 1/8" NPT thank you!

1/8" NPT Plug. :)
I'd use pipe dope on the threads (thin layer). Teflon tape would probably work just fine too; however, for an air seal I find that pipe dope (glue) works best. Especially with such small threads & contact surface area.
Maybe the hardware store has a small disposible type single use container of it.

Good Luck!
