Microfilter or cabin filter

Want to change cabin filter due to smell, just wondering what is the schedule for bmw to do this and do you have to wait for the warning light to come on. If i change it now , do i have to reset the idrive.

They are changed at the same interval as your brake fluid.:thumbup:

The smell will go away with new filters regardless of what idrive says. Do a search around here or on youtube to see how to reset the service mileage.
