Mini Pricing... Good luck to those of you prospects...

Be ready to put up with the markup crap...

According to Bimmer, MSRPs are:

Cooper - $16,850.00
Cooper S - $ 19,850.00

However, it looks like nobody's going to be able to get a Cooper S for less than $25K when they start hitting showrooms... :tsk:

It never fails to amaze me that some some people are willing to pay a hefty markup just to have the bragging rights to get one first. :tsk:

In a year, you'll see them all over the road, and eventually, they have sales on them.
I'm on the list at a MINI dealer for a CooperS at MSRP. :D
The dealer even sent a contact.

Depending on the region, it may take longer than that... A friend of mine has a friend in Cali (SF - Bay Area) who's been (was?) on a M3 wait list for a year already, and the f*ckin' dealer still refuses to let him place the order @ MSRP... :tsk:

Tell your friend to go to a different dealer. I ordered a 2002 M3 last January (2 months ago) AT MSRP, and its coming this month (March)

Well, the guy is not my friend. He's my friend's friend, but that's what I told her to tell him... Actually, I was reading my Roundel, and it seems that Cali is the only state where the markup crap is still going on :tsk: (obviously, not everywhere since you got one @ MSRP)...
