I've seen several threads discussing MOG and BMW Apps and wanted to send a note to all those currently serving overseas with U.S.-spec BMWs optioned with 6NR that even though you're not stateside, you can take advantage of the MOG/BMW partnership. (*I am not employed/endorsed/anything by MOG...just wanted to tell it like it is).

For myself, I've been able to use web radio, listen to the songs on my iPhone 4S, and stream stuff using BT, but haven't been able to use features like Pandora. MOG has solved this issue for those with valid .mil email addresses to support those stationed overseas and after the less than intuitive sign-up process on MOG, I verified that all works well and it feels good to be able to enjoy some of the comforts of home.

I'm still on my 14-day grace period, but after that, it'll be about $10/month to use MOG, but considering I can't get satellite radio and that it costs about $10 to buy an album off of iTunes vs. $10 for unlimited downloads to your mobile device using MOG, I think MOG is definitely worth a look for anyone stationed overseas.

Hope this helps and thanks for your service. Now if we could just get other folks to follow suit and open up some of the online services to folks stationed overseas...

I agree. I think MOG is great and works very well integrated in the car. It does make sense if you have to pay 9.99 per album when you can get unlimited for 9.99 a month.
