Before I take the plunge and buy a new cell phone (to replace my 3 month old phone ) -
Does the V551 work with full functions in a 2004 (May build) 545 with nav and assist? I recently had the car programmed with the Bluetooth software. It's there, but I haven't tried it yet as I do not have a Bluetooth phone . . .

Any other suggestions.

The Moto V551 should work fine. I have used the Moto V525 and V600 in my E39 with BT without any issues.

I got one last week. Works well, however, I haven't tried the assist since the bluetooth upgrade.

My setup is March 9th 2004 production with NAV.
