Went out to start the car yesterday and nothing-- interior electrical turns on but engine wont crank at all. Tried jumping it, but that did nothing. When I try to turn the engine over, there are popping noises in the rear speakers. What's the situation, and how can I solve it?

Having the same sort of problem. My research tells me it is the ews module but not too sure

Similar complaints pop up here several times a week. Seems like 90% of them are due to a bad battery. These cars are *extremely* battery-dependant, and a weak or failing one can cause all sorts of problems.

So use your OBC hidden functions to monitor the battery voltage as you attempt to start your car.
