It was just a practice, but I am going to count this one as a personal victory! I have been fooling around with this sport since the spring of 2001, so it was about time for me to pull this off. Oh… I can only dream of what may be if I am to get "R" compound tires.;)

Great job! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Great time for the S4. Was that on race tires?
I think so, a fine print guy like JST prolly knows for sure. BTW, JST got a 2nd place!

I wish I had won on Sunday

Give it time.... I doubt I will see another First place for a long time. My PAX score only got me a 24th out of 145, so I am thinking that the fast guys in "DS" were just not around that day?

2nd out of two cars is last place :flipoff:

Nice job:thumb: , but what happened to the other 330i:confused: ? Lots of WRXs.
I do not know that guy, but in past event(s) I have noticed him mid-pack like that. He has the sport package with OEM Conti-Sports (staggered tire set-up), which is not helping him any.

I think my S-03s help, but also dropping the staggered tire set-up really balances my car much better than when I had the wider tires in the rear.

Take it easy on him, that is a fine time.

A fat pig E46 beat an M3 LTW, blasphemey! :yikes:

Yea, M cars in class A. http://www.houston-bmwcca.com/z3/Autocross/AUTOX_Worksheet.htm

Stock E39 M5s are in the same class :eeps: As are E36 M3s, 240hp MZ3s...

Stock E46 328s are barely in that class. I am not stock though

You are non-staggered now? I thought that you had 255s in the rear :dunno:

235s all around?

Notice any difference with the weight reduction?

I have 225s all the way around :thumb:

If you really want some grip. Buy Dinan rims (actually Fiske) with thier spacers, you can run 255 all the way around! :yikes: :yikes:

I think I do notice the weight reduction, over bumps it seems to feel better?

255 all around!!! Are you sure that would fit in the front fender? Mine are poking out a little as it is.

Dinan 17-Inch Three-Piece Performance Wheels

Nothing creates a performance look and feel more than a set of larger wheels fitted with wide, sticky tires. An aggressive set of wheels and tires tenaciously grip the pavement for better handling and braking. Improved agility also makes it easier for you to maneuver in traffic and avoid accidents.

Dinan Three Piece Modular Wheels deliver maximum performance while having the clean, contemporary appearance of a one-piece wheel. The centers are forged, then machined from aluminum billets. The half shells are spun aluminum. This manufacturing process, while more expensive and time consuming, delivers the lightest and strongest wheel possible to contribute to the overall handling and balance of the car. Dinan wheels also provide the ability to fit the largest tires possible, for maximum grip and further reduction of understeer. A choice of 17 x 8" or 17 x 8.5" wheels are available for the E46 3 Series. The 8" wheels will accommodate a 245/40-17 tire, front and rear. The 8.5 inch wheels are designed for 255/40-17 tires, and require 3/8" wheel spacers in front.
This is what they told 31st330i as well. They will stick out for shure...
