K so I wouldn't even ask except that I'm not working and am currently afraid to drive my car due to front brakes being toast and rears are close to toast. It's also my only vehicle w/ AC at the moment (unless I steal the wife's car).
So a friend who's a mechanic has an account at NAPA and can get me their replacement rotors for $70 each. Pads are also crazy cheap compared to the OEM (like under $50/pair.
What would you do?
Thx,
=CPW=

good tip.
They have Mintex for rear pads but "Pagid" for front. Are Pagid good?
Also, they have two different fan clutches which I also need:
Fichtel-Sachs for $102.68
or
Behr for $87.87
Recommendations on the Fan Clutch?
Thx

Funny...my previous cars were high mileage Japanese vehicles and I just came to any auto parts store and bought whatever they had for brakes, rotors, etc and never had any problems. Now I own B-M-W and it's a different story. I have to research everything before I buy it...There is something about this car
