More pics coming up! :)

Sadly, I think I did pretty bad today. Knocked down 5 cones on my first timed-run and 3 cones on second timed-run. Timing was ok though I must admit the car handles MUCH better with the RD sways, CAI and exhaust. :thumb:

Question of the day by a dude who approached my car: "Who is Alpina? Never heard of them. I have only heard of Dinan. I have Dinan mods." :tsk:

Yep, I am the official "cone-man" today. :( Sigh...don't know what happened. Guess I was over anxious today. It's been a while since the last AutoX, Nov 2nd. Other half took the pics from the spectator line. No close-ups though.

How does a car handle better with CAI/Exhaust? Ah....good question. It's all psychological. ;) Well, my first autoX was bone-stocked. Hence I had a good feel on how it handled back then. I know the "pull" on the car is more significant this time. Especially so when I WOT-ed today. Ok, granted the fact that my voluptuous grumpy exhaust probably does peanuts to the performance, but a combination of CAI and exhaust have got to contribute to some boost there. :)

What's PCA? How much? :D

PCA is the Porsche Club of America. Track/ High speed driving school on a 1.8mi road course. Only $75 per day :yikes: It is 2 days, but Friday is only for Solo drivers, I want an instructor :)

That is one hellava hideous modded "Z".

Damn, I sure hope that car handles well, because it sure looks ugly (from what I can tell).

It appears to be an old 280ZX or so, back when they were Datsuns. The owner apparently went wild with the fiberglass kits!

Emission: It is a Datsun 240Z with a Mustang engine in it. No wait..Chevy engine. Not sure what's the HP/Torque. Lin might have known more, cos she checked out the car. As a matter of fact, this Datsun was in the same run group as I am. According to Lin, the car handles like a charm on the track. Every spectator was talking about it.

Here's a pic:

Mystikal: Well, Alpina wheels aren't made for racing to begin with.. :( Sigh... :(
