He was probably just referring to the 5-speed.CD-55 said:
When I ordered my car with 5-speed and NAV, my salesman said, "Mr. CD-55, this is a very special unique car you're going to have here."
That's the second time I have heard that. I don't understand why the car would be so difficult to sell:dunno:SONET said:When I went to order it that way, The Rep at Sterling said he would be happy to do it - with a $5K deposit. He said there was no way he could get rid of it if I didn't end up buying it. :dunno:

i had nav with 5 speed and it was never a problem. I would not think of gettng a 3 series in auto unless it was for my mom. I personally think the 5 speed is awesome. My brother had the step and it was nice, but no 5 speed.Chipster said:At one time I thought I read a thread about a car that was ordered with a 5 speed and Nav. The jist was that this was a bad combination because using the Nav and the 5 speed would be too challenging....like using the I-drive isn't!
Anyway, I ask because I am thinking about getting the 5 speed with the Nav on my next car and wanted to see what those who have this combo think about it.
The reasons I like the Nav is it has a better OBC, and it's trick. Of course my logical side kicks in and puts this "toy" on the "want" list instead of the "need" list so I may not get it...
What do you guys think?
I agree!:thumbup:LIL RAJA said:snip
