I know 31st330i is Mazda ASE certified master tech...Just wanted to know how long and difficult the process is of becoming ASE certified...

Been tossing around the idea of just buying a shop near home and working as a mechanic full time, and also do some tuner work for BMWs only. Not that I'm giving up Graphic Design but I feel burnt out.

Why don't you go work for Emission?

His shop is too far...It's like an hour commute each way during rush hour.

That and I want to find out the ASE certification process and see if I can actually just take courses at night a couple of days a week.

Tell you what Dan. I'll personally call my good friend Jon Shafer over at Cutter and get you in over there--they're always looking for a few good techs. I think he usually starts his mechanics at only $100k, but you're a good guy, I'll see if I can get you a buck twenty-five.

You could no longer be called a HACK then :)
He'd be a Professional HACK instead of his current status as an Amateur HACK :D
