I have just replaced new brake discs and new pads on my 2005 6 series, my mileage was 9200 today its turned to 149200... :eeps: dont know how... can any one help pls

Sounds like you went from tripometer to Odometer. Push the button again a couple of times and you should have 9200 again. :bawling:

9200 miles would be about 1300 miles per year or 100 per month! Unless this car has been sitting in your garage or a museum for years it is very unlikely that it has 9200 original miles. What did you pay and when did you get it?

Strange that the last 4 digits are the same. I wonder if your odometer is having problems? Not sure how brakes would have cause this problem?

I assume that you mean brake sensor, which should not cause any problem. Water getting in the rear compartment could cause some problems. I would start pulling things out of the trunk, looking for any water.

It sounds like you switched from miles to km somehow.

92,000 miles = 148,060 km
