I think OP has a 2012. I believe the Nav upgrade is staring with the 2013s.

You're right. He has the XDrive badge on the side indicating its a 2012.

Thanks everyone. And yes, I have a 2012. I'm not sure what changes are in store for the 2013 nav system, but mine is just retarded. I am often given inefficient, needlessly complicated routes. I've changed the route preferences many times but still no luck. Otherwise, the car is awesome. I am so relieved I got this one over the A6.
