I saw a preview of the next generation big benz and it has the same trunk detail. Maybe Bangle is moonlighting.

I must say that car looks absolutely stunning. It is by far the coolest looking large sedan ever. Those wheels really make the car.

As a side note, you may remember when the C5 Corvette came out in 97. Everyone hated that design - said it was very lame and unaggressive. I think it has aged extremely well and makes the C4 look extremely dated. I think the same will be said about the new 7.

That would explain part of McLaren's lacklusterness in this season's Formula One World Championship.

And I suppose that if Bangle would be out of a job with BMW soon, he might as well keep his options open ...

Yeah. I find myself growing more accustomed to the eyebrows and the shape of the headlight light cluster, and the overall coupe proportions... but the trunk slab still eludes me.
