Hello everyone, long time bimmer owner first time e60 M5 owner,
I just picked up a 2006 M5 to add to my collection of bmws, so far I like it, but Im still trying to get accustom to it.
I picked up the car today from the dealer that I bought it from, by loading it on my car hauler for the 4 hr drive back to my side of the world.
When I shut the car off, a symbol came on the dash that Ive never seen, it was a yellow warning but it was a car symbol with arrows on top going left to right above the car.
Could anyone shed some light on it
Thanks

Ahhh, you had said the arrows were going left TO right. You meant left AND right.

i got that symbol once when I had my E60 530i auto and my engine was off but I was rolling it out of my garage in neutral. I think it's just telling you the car is moving with engine off or to set the brake or put it in park.

My E60 M5 was a stick and it never gave the symbol.

Its just letting you know that the car isn't in gear in case you're parked on a hill. Its all good. By the way, great color! Got one just like it!
