Hello everyone

Well its time for me and the family to get a second car. I am looking at a couple 3 series that are near to me. Is there anything that stands out that would be a red flag? Are older 3's reliable to have or will it nickle and dime me?

As you can see it does not matter if a coupe or sedan but would like a manual.

Are these worth a look or should I wait until something cheaper comes along?

The 325e is definitely not worth $3500, and I'm sure others here will say that as well. If I were in your shoes, I would go with the 318. Mainly because it's a '91 and to me, you find more parts and spare things for a '91 318 rather than an '84 eta. If you talk down the price of the 318, you could use the money you "saved" to reupholster the seats and clean it up. But in the end it's your opinion, so get whatever pleases you.
