After trying to log into my old username unsuccessfully, I started a new member registration. I started with a 1995 525 touring (station wagon) that I liked, but it was two wheel drive and I had to drive to the Pocono Mountains in NE PA to visit relatives in the winter. I traded in the 525 with almost 200k miles and bought a 2005 X5 4.4 that I still own. Love the car. Lotsa power, very practical for hauling stuff, like horse feed for my three horses if I don't feel like driving my 2001 Ford F250 4x4 truck. Other cars..1993 Mazda RX-7 twin turbo, highly modified, very fast. 1968 Chevy Corvette convertible, restored. Also very fast and very loud. Will probably keep the X5 until the wheels fall off. Newer models have lots of electronic features but the basic car is hardly changed in over 15 years.
