Hey there, i recently bought my first BMW, its an E36 325i (M50B25TU I believe)

It is a project, as I have a daily driver so I will be doing some performance modifications in the future

For now, I would love some help from other E36 enthusiasts about keeping my car in tip-top shape

It currently has 224k Miles and is a bit rough, can anyone point me in the direction of what the best oil to use, trans fluid/gear oil (its a manual) spark plugs, basic maintenance things like that? I would appreciate it if someone could find me a post that can include all of these, or some of these things. I know its due for an oil change and want to get that done ASAP.

Car has a lot of miles. If it were mine, I'd stick to dino name brand motor oil in 10W40 or heavy 10W30 (high mileage oils) or 15W40. I would not put in expensive oil while you are sorting the car out.
I just put in Ravenol Synchromesh MTF in my 94 325is. I like it.
I used Amsoil Severe Gear 75W90 in the diff.
