I only have 420mi on my 2008 Z4, but I wanted some lighter autocross wheels.

What do you think? I will still use the Sport Pkg wheels outside autoxing

Before 18x8 18x9 Staggered - Sport Pkg

After 18x8 18x9 Staggered - 22lbs wheel

Light wheels are a definite plus, but key to fast autocross times are the tires. What did you wrap them in?

I didnt want to bump to the next class with R comps so I went with BFG KDW-2s which is what my other autox cars have.

The new ones look great on your car. Your OEM wheels are the style used on the coupe concept when BMW was floating it - I heard they were available, but I'd never seen them on a production car until now. The BBS wheels look better.

IMHO these BBS wheels look a bit small, but I'm sure the light weight will pay off. I'm a bigger fan of wheels where the spokes go out to the rim, but to each his own. I'm putting some style 135's on for winter :)

Congrats!

wow.... first time seeing those sport production wheels...

Real BBS LM's or knockoffs? Cost? Vendor?

Looks great!
looks like knockoffs, no bbs center caps... curious to see how the gold ones would look on a white roadster.
