No AC or any air on 2007 328i

You did check the fuse, right?
Take a small ballpein hammer, or a piece of hard wood, and tap on the blower motor housing when the switch is in the run position. Does the blower activate?
Do you have a test light, or a multimeter (a volt ohm meter)?

stick you head in the dash/under the hood. have someone turn the a/c on and off. keep it on low and see if it kicks on or not. follow up

Tried tapping blower housing and did check the fuses related to the ventilation system.... Felt a tiny bit of AC while playing with controls switching from AC to defrost to see if anything would happen so I am somewhat comfortable that AC does work. I do have a voltmeter, but not comfortable enough to start testing all the pins, plus wouldn't know where to start? Any guidance would help! Thanks for responding.

By the way, tapped the motor with hammer....not a beep, you can hear all controls going from defrost to AC, but no fan noise at all.

Your symptoms indicate a problem with the blower motor. It it were the resistor circuit (which controls speed) it would work on high speed only as that is the 'fail safe'. There is a possibility that the switch is bad but I don't think so.
You'll need to check for voltage at the blower motor after removing the connector. Get a wiring diagram to identify the wire colors which you need to check. It's highly unlikely you have a two pin connector, probably five or more pins and you'll need to know which is which.
An easy check is to find a friend with an identical car and plug his blower into your wiring harness. Whatever, be careful when you test, you don't want to accidently send 12V unfused somewhere it isn't supposed to go. This is an easy check but you still have to know what you are doing.

Hey DSX, thanks for all advice... Got a new blower unit and used a DIY.... managed to fix it.... Fan was shot..... $350 parts for resistor and new blower, no labour, except a little love!!!!! starting to like the car again. Cheers!

Great, yeah you spent some money, but a lot less than having someone else do it for you, and you have the satisfaction of knowing you did it!

Fuse?

Thanks for the great video. I have a 2007 328xi and have replaced the motor and am now putting everything else back together but the motor has no power. Does anyone have a fuse diagram? Thanks.

No AC, fan, defrost, nothing!!!

Mine just started doing the same exact thing! I guess I'll have my mechanic put a new blower in which is easy to get to.

Even if it does the "same exact thing" it MAY be for a different reason, so let's take another look at the symptoms:

(1) Does the Climate Control panel "light-up" with temp reading, blower speed, Auto, compressor snowflake, etc.?

(2) If you select Defrost mode, does anything happen?

(3) When you manually select HIGHEST blower setting, does anything happen?

(4) Have you checked the fuses? : Control panel is F61 (10A), and the Blower is F67 (40A); fuses are behind glovebox: open & empty glovebox, twist two fasteners on rear glovebox panel 90 degrees and pull out panel; fusechart should be on rear of panel (trifold).

If you have a multimeter and know how to test for voltage we can provide you with steps to do that. Even if you don't DIY (Do It Yourself), you should at least DIY (Diagnose It Yourself)

Okay everybody check this out! I've gotta 2007 328i and my cigarette lighter wouldn't work because the fuse kept on blowing. I changed it twice and it would work for a little bit and then blow again. One day morning I discovered that the one inside the arm rest console had a penny stuck down in it which was causing the short. I got the penny out and changed the 20 amp fuse and it works fine now, this was like last week. Now my blower stopped working around 3 weeks ago. I got off work and went to start my ride up and cut the AC on and got nothing! The control console read like it was activated (blowing) temperature controls functioned properly and even the the speed dial displayed properly but nothing actually blew out the vents. Today which is the 8-22-17 I was driving and figured what the hell, let me try the blower again just for kicks and it actually worked!!! Last week I went to a BMW shop and got quoted 500 for the fix and the guy said it was very common with these cars for the blower motor to go out. I tried every function on my console, Defrost, AC, Automatic Thermostat and all the speeds and it works perfectly! All I did was change that fuse for the cigarette light plug to work and now all of a sudden it works now also!? Very interesting and by the way for those who are wondering those are 20 inch rims on mine and it rides and drives just like the factories.
