My 2008 750Li audio has stopped working no sound from radio or door chime, it want let me choose a radio station,cd,or auxiliary, and want pull up reverse sensor.

thanks I think it's going to be the amp..I kept hearing noise from speakers like amp was trying to kick on when the car was parked

if it was your amp . You would still have sound
from front speakers , as those are controlled by
your Ask Unit ...

you can easily do it yourself if you buy the fibre loop
from the dealer . price should be $15 to $25 maybe
for the loop ...

Open glove box unplug fiber optic loop "lollipop" leave it unplugged for 6 to 10 minutes. The "lollipop" is located behind the little door in Glove box. Plug it back in then turn on car. Sometimes these units need to be reset. This happened to me a week ago.

Everything works as it should

Sounds like the fuse has blown.

Same problem

I had a xenon l/h/s bulb go out. I checked all fuses before replacement of bulb. Changed the bulb and now I too am having no audio, radio, cd, door chimes, or parking sensor. :dunno:
I unplugged the lolipop as suggested and checked all fuses. 08 750LI

Hi, my car has no sound at all, no door chime, no warning sounds, no parking sensor tune, Navi, BT, Radio, CD are working fine, but no sound from navigation, I can pair my phone, I can make phonecall through the car, I have voice control, just doesn't have any sound. I can switch radio stations, I can use the Aux and USB.
All fuses are fine, I use Fiber Optic Loop to bypass TCU, AMP, Radio modules, nothing changed. All the fiber optic connectors have red light flashing when I unplugged them. But I found out that the AMP does not have output power(the 20 pins connect to the big harness of AMP, not sure how to describe it), so I bought one from eBay with exact same part number, put it in, leave the car on Ignition for a while, still no sound. I tried to disconnect the battery for an hour, nothing changed, I also reboot the iDrive by holding on the volume button.
I am out of ideas here, if anyone has the same problem, please please help, I really appreciate it! I just disconnected the battery for overnight, not sure it will fix it but I don't know what else to look. Looking forward to hearing your opinions, Thank you.

Wow have any of you guys had any water problems recently? I did and had to reseal the trunk and the sunroof and a week later the radio went out while driving it did start ot work again but only for a day or so it died right after. I get what most of you are saying I did remove the small panel in the rear roof console that had a different kind of wire sloted in it could that be an issue?
