Hello,
2004 325i Sedan
I have been having trouble with the fault codes for the heater element on both front o2 sensors. I would like to know if there is a relay on the car for these and which relay is it. I have two new o2 sensors to put in but want to make sure it is not a relay (if there is one?)
thanks

If it was all of a sudden I would be suspect but if that light was on for awile it could be both. I'm not sure if the 04 325i has this but look in your manual for a emissions fuse or engine managment fuse and see if it's blown (not the big one) it would be about 20 amp. I know other manufacturers have that fuse

Check the fuses that are in the engine computer housing. It's located under the hood at the far left side of the car. It's next to the brake hardware. The cover should loom oddly shaped. The fuse(s) for the sensors' heaters is/are there.
