Hi I have been searching for a oil leak for 2 weeks on my 1999 323i. I looked all round the oil pan, oil filter, power steering, and all around the bottom of the motor. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Hi;
We got our 325i new in 2001 and it started to leak oil intermittently after several months. After several trips to the dealer, I said don't want the car back until its fixed. They finally replaced the oil pan gasket and the problem was solved..hope this helps.

I had rear main seal leaking on my 06 325i..which was replaced free of charge since it was under factory warranty..otherwise it would have cost a fortune...
