Welcome to the club of Jet Black car owners.
In terms of the dealer clearcoat....there's tons of arguments both ways.
I guess it depends on where you live and the climate.
Here in the Bay Area, it's a waste.
Keep in mind, if you decide to have the clearcoat - or whatever the dealer calls it, you may want to shop around at other places to see how much it costs.
If anything, it may give you some barganing power.
