I'm hoping someone can help fill the blanks on how to replace my O2 sensor!!

There's little to no information covering the N55 engine and DIY Oxygen (o2) sensor replacement.

My story:

- CEL (check engine light) popped up on a 2011 535i
- clearing the codes with the OBD scan tool worked for about 4-5 trips before it would re-appear. -No noticeable engine problems (hesitation, stalling, lurching)



- Hidden menu indicated DTC E12C1A
(checked thoroughly throughout the web and found that these DTC's don't have any list available indicating what the DTC indicates)


-OBDII scan tool indicated P0030 as the fault code


-From what I can tell my problem is a the oxygen sensor at Bank 1 sensor 1 (pre-cat and passenger side).

-From what I can tell the bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor is at the location in the photos below?! Can anyone clarify this, or does anyone know if this is tackled from above or below the engine bay?

For the life of me I can't find the proper part number for the bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor? I can only find one for the F30 N55 which I would assume is the same?

Any ideas on concrete part numbers and how to access this o2 sensor? Is this the correct o2 sensor?

Correct part number is Bosch 17015.
