I have a 2011 BMW 335IS with 62000 miles, and I got a "service engine soon" light, and the code read P2808 Pressure Control Solenoid "G" Performance Stuck off. What does that mean? I recently replace the vanos solenoid but that doesn't appear to be the issue. I was told it might have something to do with the transmission. Help me out thanks

That fault is probably referring to the vacuum canisters by the passenger headlight.

I would scan the car with a BMW specific scanner. It may provide a better description.

At the very least, you can inspect the vacuum lines going to the canisters as its very easy/cheap to do/replace. BMW will charge a ton for these lines but any high temp vacuum line from an auto parts store will work just fine.
