Hey guys I just bought a 2003 330i steel blue metallic color.
Unfortunately there are a few minor light scratches on the body in several spots and on the hood there is a little bit deeper scratch thats about .6 of a mm wide and 1.25 mm long? Whats the best way to fix this latter scratch?

Thanks in advance,
Marek

Metallic is real hard to match because is the metal flaking in it....the touch up paint that comes from BMW will repair small minor rock chips but longer scratches IMO do not come out that good.....I would suggest that you can your local dealership (any of them) or any used car lot that has the nicer used cars on it, and ask the manager who they use for chip repair....all the ones in my area have a mobile guy for this and they will do a much better job for you
