Should be the same part used to replace the 2001 models.

part# 51 11 7 030 611
which is different then yours.
I have been trying to verify the part # via
http://www.circlebmw.com/parts/price.htm
but none of them pop up.
I guess I will call Circle but I figure they probably dont know either. That's why I was hoping someone who has a 2002 with similiar setup and has done it replies.

The schematic must not be correct for the 2002 Sport package. After calling Pacific BMW, they confirmed that it is in fact not correct. The piece they sent (part # 51-11-8-195-304) will not fit, even if you push the 2 side strips out of the way. Part # 51-11-8-195-304 is about 2x longer than it needs to be and has plastic clips all the way across the back of it. If you were to move the side strips out of the way and attempt to install the middles piece (if it were to even fit) there wouldn't be any place to reattach the side strips.WAM said:What do you mean much too long?
If the strip is just a little longer than the gap between the two side strips, you have to push the strips asid, insert middle piece and push the two side strips back in the middle.
Looking at the schematic that Vince posted above, it is the correct part #.
