It appears that PhatNoise changed their forum software the other day. On their new board, there is an announcement that they are relaunching their website at the end of the month. They also say that there is going to be an availbality announcement at that time that will make a lot of people happy.

Hopefully, they will have another batch of PhatBoxes to sell (including BMW adapter kits) or something else that will allow use of the Kenwood MusicKeg with the OEM BMW headunit.

Meh. Just get the Alpine MP3 CD changer. Cheaper, even after buying the mounting hardware and the two adapters needed. The PhatBox does have an interesting interface though.

thanks for teh heads up. i am really thinking about upgrading to the alpine or phatbox (if bmw available) becasue i am getting super tired of changing discs left and right.

AFAIK, Kenwood is licensing the phatbox thing. Phatnoise is also supposed to be talking (on again off again) with Visteon about licensing the phatbox for OEM applications. Maybe I'm wrong? :dunno:
