I can live with the bubble butt, but those headlights! :yikes:

Still would choose it over any Merc if I was in the market for that kind of car.

That E65 is HUGE! It makes the S-Class look like a shrimp. Too bad the S-Class blows it away in looks.

That's "presence" for ya' :bigpimp:

But, looking at this picture, the S class looks tail heavy compared to the BMW :thumb:

That's funny that they didn't use a Silver E65! :D I mean 80% of BMW's must be silver, they chose the S-Class in silver, but not the E65.

Aaahh, the marketing dept strikes again... Methinks that silver BMW's will be much less popular in the future. The new BMW lines are hidden much more effectively with the dark colors. Even the new E46 looks pretty darn good in dark colors. Silver, blech!

The E65 looks nice there :bigpimp:

Great job, nate!

Seriously, I can't *feel* anything for S class. C'mon, look at their interior. 67 buttons for S-class and 38 (including I-Drive) for E65.

Seat adjuster on the door panel S-class??:dunno:
"Honey, I wanted to adjust the height of my seat, but accidentally opened the door. Yep, now that the door is damaged by oncoming traffic, I won't be able to adjust my headrest at all."

LOL! The set adjuster has always been there on Benzes. I'll bet you that your scenario has happened all of zero times. :D That wood is nasty.

Maybe I'm just tired of seeing the S-Class in every music video, but in those pics I found myself favouring the E65.

Yup! :thumb:

The BMW is much simpler, rotary knobs instead of TINY buttons

Any, the elecric seat adjusters have always been there on MBs. But, if luxury car buyers are completely inept as some have claimed, that might not be so far fetched ;)

Hey nate, I found out something interesting yesterday while I was cleaning out the garage. My 323's trunk was emptied, so I decided to take a peek at the spare. To my surprise, it actually was a 225/50/16 Contisport. But after taking the whole thing right out, I was shocked. My car originally came with Style 43's!

Now, my car was sold to me with Mille Miglia MM-112's with the factory Contisports on them. I have come to the conclusion that the previous owner must have swapped tires only for the first winter then the next summer purchased these wheels and mounted the then-unmounted Conti's. Before selling the car, they probably sold the Style 43's w/winter tires.

This wouldn't be that bad, but after looking at the spare for a while, I really like the rim. :( I guess I didn't lose out that bad, if the Miglia's turn out to be a quality rim 5 years from now. But still, ever since the E46 came out the 43's have always been my favourite. You win and you lose some...literally. ;)

What size rims are the MM-112s? If they are 7.5" or 8" you can get a wider tire on them :dunno:

I think the Type 43s look better than the 112s :bigpimp:

Everything with the E65 is OK (handling, engine, ride comfort etc) , but the trunk lid is still ugly.

Not only I'm saying this but most of the design gurus here in Europe too.
